At exhibitions, one shoe company in Belgium faces a challenge to figure out which pair of shoes is the most attractive to potential buyers. With hundreds of pairs on display, each boasting distinct styles, functionalities, and designs, exhibitor struggles to identify which models attract the most attention and which ones may be overlooked. The dynamic environment on booth exacerbates this difficulty, making it hard to manually record consumer interests.
Having no insightful data from these valuable events, this company has more risks making uninformed inventory decisions. Without tangible reference into consumer preferences and market trends, the business overstocks slow-moving items, leading to wasted inventory, increased storage costs and financial losses. Each shoe is tied with a BLE tag containing a built-in 3-axis accelerometer, which is able to detect the status when being picked up. The MK107 gateway automatically captures this data and securely transmits it via Wi-Fi to client’s software platform. Transforming raw interaction data into actionable insights, such software enables business to identify the most popular shoe styles based on visitor engagement metric collected.

By prioritizing high-pickup frequency products in its marketing campaigns, the company is more likely to gain interests and drive engagements.
